Chevrolet all started on November 3rd, 1911 when William Durant, recently outed from General Motors, decided to team up with Louis Chevrolet. Durant had hoped to use Chevrolet’s reputation as a racer to help promote the new automobile company. Since then, the brand has been one of the strongest and most reputable. They’ve had a tremendous presence in the auto world through-out the decades, consistently being behind some of the most popular models of their time. From the Corvette to the Camaro, the Impala to the new Volt, Chevrolet has been, and continues to be the major name in auto making.
